Relationship between mastocytosis and neuropsychiatric symptoms.

    Location:

    Rochester, MN

    Trial status:

    Open for Enrollment

Why is this study being done?

Patients with mastocytosis commonly report neuropsychiatric symptoms (e.g. brain fog, headache, sleep disturbances, etc). However, it is not known whether these symptoms are related to mast cell activity in the blood, or the brain.
In this study, we will measure mast cell activity in both the blood and the spinal fluid to determine how these measurements relate to neuropsychiatric symptoms.
