07-001086

Trial Status:

Open for Enrollment

Phase: I

Why is this study being done?

The aims of this study are to identify genes critical to the formation of uterine fibroids. Some women with uterine fibroids may have one or more genes that make them more likely to develop uterine fibroids. Sibling pairs who have medically or surgically documented uterine fibroids are eligible for the study.

What is Involved With this Study?

Participants will be asked to complete 1-2 questionnaires, and to submit a single blood or saliva sample for genetic testing.
